 Julie Ann Bartoletti is the owner of Dance FX Sunrise. Although born in Ann Arbor, Michigan on June 12 (Gemini!), she is truly homegrown, having spent most of her life in Sunrise, Florida. Bartoletti began dancing at just 2½ years old and trained extensively at the University Center for the Performing Arts in Davie, New World School of the Arts in Miami, and Tremaine Dance Studios in Los Angeles. Her specialty is L.A.-based Jazz and Lyrical—her absolute favorite style.

She launched her professional career with Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines and went on to perform in numerous industrials for companies such as Remax, Kodak, Chrysler, AT&T, American Tobacco, and Xerox. Her performance credits also include appearances with Chayanne, The Four Tops, The Temptations, Donna Summer, Melanie Griffith, Sophia Loren, Eddie Murphy, and Marie Osmond, as well as television commercials for Univision and the Latin Grammys. Despite owning many pairs of dance shoes, she’s most at home performing barefoot.

Bartoletti’s dance role models include her personal mentors Doug Caldwell and Joe Tremaine, along with iconic figures like Mikhail Baryshnikov, Gregory Hines, and Ann Reinking. For her, dancing is like breathing—she simply couldn’t live without it.

Her proudest accomplishment, aside from her children, is owning Dance FX. Julie is honored to continue the legacy of her mother, Joan Bartoletti, and is committed to filling her shoes while leading the studio into the future.
